Biography:

Kim has 30 years of experience in the intellectual property field, with both in-house and private practice background. A particular concentration of Kim’s practice is on global trademark licensing negotiations and transactions, and brand protection strategies. Having handled all aspects of IP licensing and brand extension management of large brand portfolios, Kim’s depth of knowledge in global licensing programs adds a unique dimension to her practice serving a diverse array of clients from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups across a myriad of industries, product categories and retail channels.

In addition to writing and negotiating complex IP licenses, Kim provides strategic brand architecture guidance for portfolio and program management; redesign of IP operational processes and best practices for compliance protocols; crafting of social media/influencer/creative collaborations; and the establishment of innovative deal structures that result in revenue growth tied to the IP assets.
